We’ve joined the supply chain sustainability school

by Scriba PR

Last month’s COP26 conference put the spotlight firmly on climate change once again – and the onus on businesses of all shapes and sizes to start making a difference.

With that in mind, we’ve signed up to the Supply Chain Sustainability School – a membership organisation which allows us to access training in five key areas, including sustainability, BIM, and management.

Referred to as ‘a world class collaboration to enable a sustainable built environment,’ the school is open to anyone working in the construction, facilities management, homes and infrastructure sectors – across England, Scotland and Wales.

As part of a robust syllabus, the organisation tackles waste and carbon, fairness, inclusion and respect and the modern slavery act as well as a multitude of sustainability issues.

As part of our membership, we’re set to complete a self-assessment of where we are now before being given a completely bespoke action plan – complete with e-learning modules and various training resources.

Not only that, but throughout 2022, we’ll be invited to attend a number of training and networking events, as well as gaining CPD points. Watch this space to see how we get on.
