Smith Brothers Contracting Ltd was appointed as the Independent Connection Provider (ICP) for the 207-acre site in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
The 40MW solar farm was energised in December 2020 following a project delivery which saw Smith Brothers provide a turnkey solution. This included all contestable elements of the 132kV WPD connection, as well as the 33kV private-side.
